Regarding Facebook posts

 It's not the differences that bother me; it's the bickering.  I am caught with the idea that if we would use our energies toward the things we agree upon rather than our differences, then we would have more peaceful and rich lives all across the board. 
A nation/house/family/world divided against itself cannot stand.  Let's not make agreement a requirement for honoring, respectful and loving relationships, ok?

On to more surfacey topics:  I did finish entering data into my school planner, which I LOVE!  I did take some time to read and to relax immediately afterward.  I do finally feel like I am on summer vacation -- I guess two weeks is "normal" for most of the working world?  I am currently using my slow cooker for a batch of granola.



When we return from our upcoming trip, I plan to give an oatmeal version of these babies a go:

The trip is an outreach opportunity with our King's Kids Go-Network team.  That's what I need to focus on this week, but a girl's gotta live a little, also!
