 I am shocked that I've blogged only once in October, which is one of my favorite months of the year.  It has been crazy busy, and I admit that I am looking forward to the quietness that November's calendar is promising at present.


And now for a brief update:

My husband accepted a position with Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, and starts on October 29!  We are very thankful and excited about this new opportunity.  Thanks again to all of you who prayed for us.

The promised internet upgrade process officially began on October 19th and is on-going.  As a matter of fact, I expect a technician to arrive soon, because we started having problems on Tuesday morning.  When it works, the speed is very noticeably improved.

School and the daily routine continue on -- a comfort to this mom of many.

Late breaking news:  The upgrade has been fixed and seems like it is good to go this time around -- really!  Hooray for HughesNet!
