The final D.C. 2012 post

Thursday morning we slept in an extra hour since we had been up late the night before. 

08.08.12, Wednesday

This day earned renown among us as “the day that was two days.”

The shower at 5:15 a.m. felt great, but I was extremely tired, so I returned to my bunk until 7 a.m.

Original plan:  Meet at Gateway church in northern Indiana at 6:30 p.m. CST for Heart Prep and for planning.

Nearing Summer's End

I've been asked several times in the last week "what did you do today?"  My days have been packed and busy, but my reply has honestly been, "I have no idea."  The interpretation of that at least partially is:  "aside from laundry, cleaning, cooking, school work, office work, miscellaneous housekeeping work, correspondence and reading, I am not currently working on an all-consuming project."  I should have probably said something about enjoying my "time off."
