The scoop is that I decided to join the members site at TrimHealthyMama.com; I chose the three month membership, because I want to see if I will visit there enough and utilize the resources there enough for me to feel like I have spent that money wisely. As of this day, about 12 days in, I can say it has been well worth the money.
So far I have found answers to some of my recent questions, along with the Stubborn Losers Menus and some delicious recipes. The Chocolate Milk, and the Eggs and Hash recipes are repeaters, and the FP Peanut Butter Cookie Muffin will be. I enjoyed the muffin this morning, completely surprised at how delicious it was and how much I enjoyed the texture as well. I do so love it when I follow a recipe as written, taste it tentatively, and then blissfully inhale the end product. Thanks so much, Pearl and Serene!
While out running this morning, I was reminded that I should start thinking about blog posts for the week. I remember promising updates about some things, one of which I covered above.
I am still school planning, although I added in a major writing project to this month, which is requiring lots of my discretionary time. Alongside of that I have had some wonderful, amazing ministry opportunities open up to which I have said yes and run after. Nonetheless, albeit slowly, I have been working my way through a library book by Cathy Duffy and feeling inspired and motivated. That in itself is worth the investment of time reading the book and doing the exercises.
On the employment front, I have not heard back a second time about an interview, at least not as of yet. I am praying about following up somehow. HE knows how much I would love that job, as well as all of the other details that would be affected by me working part-time.
And that's the scoop as of today.

Fragrant and Free
Moments ago I arrived home from my dash to our local library -- have I mentioned before how much I LOVE libraries (tee-hee, I know I have)?!

Books, Books, Books
As usually happens, I received notifications for books awaiting me at my two favorite libraries during the past week. Early this morning I headed out to retrieve my treasures. I can hardly wait to dive in! I do think one of my dream vacations would be to simply read books the entire time and that one of my dream jobs would be to work in a library.

Projects
| Summer afternoon sky |
I mentioned unfinished projects recently without naming any of them. The projects I have completed from that list are:
- organizing some craft supplies into a temporary holding box until I have purchased a new set of shelves and a basket or two for them,
- sorting out and filing 2011-12 schoolwork into each student's small storage box,
- acquiring approval and an ordering date for 2012-13 textbooks,
- putting some NEEDED library books on hold (lots of them!), and
- clothes changeover from fall/winter to spring/summer for our youngest two kiddos.
Other projects and/or project ideas for the summer include:
- finishing school preparation for 2012-13
- getting rid of unwanted cookbooks to make room on my cookbook shelf
- cleaning up and organizing the basement
- pondering a kitchen reorganization, including adding some shelves and possibly a small tall table
- adding weight training to my exercise routine
- sewing together completed quilt squares and compiling a quilt started long ago
- knitting Christmas gifts
- crocheting
- reading lots of books
- DREAMING!!!
What projects have you completed recently? What projects are on your summer list?

Even More Kindle Love
Overheard at a conference I attended a couple of weekends
ago:
“I don’t think I could ever get used to using an e-reader.”
“Me, too. I love
holding books and being able to highlight them and write notes in them.”
I previously thought like that, too. Now I am finding that I love my Kindle more
and more as I learn to use more of its features. My current fave features are
bookmarking, highlighting, adding notes and the “My Clippings” folder.
